It's important to us to tailor this session to feel just like you, whether that's cozying up with hot cocoa, popping champagne downtown, or jumping in a river together. There is no rescheduling fee for dangerous or stormy weather that will get in the way of our shoot. We will find a new day for ya!
What if we have bad weather?
I shoot a lot to make sure to capture all the best moments and in between moments, but you won't want the photos of you blinking or pulling a hair out of your eye. I send all the images that tell your story best.
Do we get all the photos?
Nope! You wouldn't ask a bakery to give you a pile of flour and sugar instead of a cake, would you? You hired us for our shooting and editing style that makes us "us" and just trust us to make the magic happen for you!
Do you give raw (unedited) photos?
We require a $150 retainer for regular sessions and a $750 retainer for weddings to hold your date. This goes toward your total balance and the rest can be paid online via card through HoneyBook. Full payment is due prior to your date.
How does payment work?
We don't believe in photoshop around here - we aren't about making people look Barbie-perfect because that's not who you are! Again, we want to capture you how your love sees you, and sometimes the imperfections are the best part. However, we are happy to brush away a scratch or a pimple (anything that isn't permanent) while editing!
Will you photoshop me?
First and foremost, wear something that is comfortable and feels like you! If you don't normally wear heels and dresses, maybe pass on that for engagement photos. Cute casual is so underrated, and there's nothing better than wearing your favorite sweater and comfy jeans with your love! We recommend complementary but not matching colors. *Life hack:* choose your outfit colors based on the colors in your home - those are probably your favorites anyway! You are also welcome to text me pics of your outfit choices - always down to give tips.
What should you wear?
Travel is included for all locations within an hour of Louisville, Kentucky. Travel for any weddings or sessions outside of that range will be calculated at a rate of $0.50/mile. Exceptions include if we are already traveling to said location for another reason - happy to waive fees in this case!
